Forging the Future Together:
Community Partnerships
Collaboration isn't just an idea for us at Cristo Rey Orlando; it's a core value that drives our approach to community engagement. By partnering with other organizations, we harness resources, expertise, and networks to bolster support for future Cristo Rey students and their families.

At the core of our mission lies a commitment to fostering hope and possibility for everyone. This dedication transcends the boundaries of our school and extends into the wider community. In the last two years, we've witnessed incredible initiatives in Orlando dedicated to meeting the needs of our community.
It's been inspiring!

We're immensely grateful to our partner organizations for their unwavering dedication to empowering students and families. Together, we're creating opportunities for them to not only survive but thrive and succeed.  Your ongoing support and collaboration are invaluable, and we express our sincerest appreciation for your continued dedication to our shared mission.

A Joyous Celebration: Easter Ladies’ Luncheon
On April 10, Cristo Rey Orlando High School celebrated a delightful occasion. Peg Cornwell graciously hosted a captivating Easter Ladies' Luncheon, where we were treated to inspiring words from our Founding President, Amanda Livermore, and gained firsthand insights into the teaching experience at Cristo Rey through the perspective of Amanda Burke. As a former educator at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, Chicago, Mrs. Burke eloquently conveyed her dedication to student growth and investment. The event was filled with joy and friendship. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Cornwell's for their generosity and to Rollins College for being among our earliest Corporate Partners. With their support, alongside that of other benefactors and 40 additional corporate partners, we eagerly anticipate the opening of our doors in the fall of 2025!

Cristo Rey On The Move
We had a fantastic time at the annual Cristo Rey conference in Dallas. Being among the 325 colleagues from across the country was an honor, and the discussions and connections made will undoubtedly shape the future of Cristo Rey.

From exploring innovative AI approaches to discussing strategies for Corporate Work Study success, every interaction brought forth new insights and perspectives. Our Founding Principal, Johanna Santiago-Puckering, found the experience transformative:
"Attending my first CR Annual meeting last week was a revelation. It was the most well-planned professional learning event I've ever experienced. Everyone was welcoming and supportive, and the shared information was both innovative and a product of collaborative efforts among all leaders." - Johana Santiago-Puckering, Founding Principal.

A big thank you goes out to Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep for their exceptional hospitality. We're excited to carry forward the momentum and spirit of collaboration from our time together.
