Let's give a shout out to these awesome third grade Accelerated Reader winners: Hattie Pierce, 1st place; Parker Lamberth, 2nd place; Charlotte Hillstrom, 3rd place; Henry Yasin, 4th place; Ry Bledsoe, 5th place; and Maggie Newby, Best Comprehension (99%). We are proud of these students and all of our third graders. Keep up the great work this summer! #acceleratedreader #westfieldthirdgrade

Congratulations to all of our fourth grade amazing readers! The entire grade earned 7,522 points total! Congratulations to these top readers: James (1st), Bailey (2nd), Williams (3rd), and Daniel (top comprehension). Great job, fourth grade!! #acceleratedreader #westfieldfourthgrade #greatreaders

To wrap up their study of plants, students in Mrs. Jessica Roberts’s second grade class planted their own grass seed. They learned about everything that a plant requires to live and grow. They kept a journal and recorded the growth by measuring - using the math skills they have learned. They were responsible for watering their plants and ensuring their plants had sun. This is the end result of their hard work! They will now get to give their hairy grass boy/girl a haircut! #handsonlearning #westfieldsecondgrade

As we wrap up the school year, one of the highlights is our fourth-grade Fraction Pizza Project! This project served as a culminating assignment for our study on fractions, showcasing the students' mastery of the concepts and skills. Not only did it reinforce their knowledge of fractions, but it also provided a creative outlet. What an awesome way for our students to demonstrate their understanding of math concepts! A big thanks to Perry's Papa John's for their support! #YearEndMathFun #pizzaproject

Fifth graders in Mrs. Ashley McSwain’s math class are “scooting” around the lobby of the gymnatorium today to calculate volume of different objects. We love seeing math in action! #westfieldfifthgrade #handsonlearning

Upper School students in Mrs. Melissa Smith’s environmental science class planted a school garden. Westfield parents and students, you are welcome to stop by and pick some veggies anytime you are on campus this summer. The garden beds are located behind the softball fields near the gravel lot. We already have some cucumbers coming in and basil is ready. Hoping for tomatoes later this summer! #westfieldscience #handsonlearning #sharedgarden

Congratulations to junior Luke Davidson who was selected for Georgia Independent Athletic Association All State and All Region baseball honors and to freshman Brock Johnson who was also selected for All Region honors. Great job, Hornets! #westfieldbaseball
