"I've met so many who have lost so much. But they never lose their dreams for their children or their desire to better our world. They ask for little in return - only our support in their time of greatest need"

- UN Secretary-General, António Guterres

On World Refugee Day, held every year on June 20th, we commemorate the strength, courage and perseverance of millions of refugees. This year, World Refugee Day also marks a key moment for the public to show support for families forced to flee.

Your generosity makes it possible for refugees in Arizona to begin their life

Here are some ways you can make a difference for refugees in Arizona and across the world:

Advocate: Write your member of Congress and urge them to support refugee resettlement.
Volunteer: Complete your LSS-SW volunteer application to see what volunteer opportunities match your skills and interests.
Donate: Whether it's hosting a drive for our highly needed items, donating household furniture, or making an online gift, your generosity builds foundations for refugees in Arizona.
Pray: #PrayForRefugees is an initiative to equip and encourage Christians to unite in prayer on behalf of the millions who have been displaced from their homes and their countries as a result of conflict and persecution around the world. Visit their website for prayers and information.

You are making a difference. Thank you for walking with refugees.
