A New Laser Table

SafTCart adds a new laser table to its arsenal. With this new laser we are able to precision cut parts and pieces at a detail and speed not seen before. This is yet another way SafTCart promises and delivers on our excellence in product quality and satisfaction.

SafTCart employs laser tables for 90% of the parts we use in fabrication. This is a far cry from the days of cutting, re-cutting, bending and re-bending parts to fit a specific fixture when we built items of the past.

Employee Spotlight

Caleb Robbins

21 year old graduate of the University of West Alabama, Caleb Robbins is from Brooksville, MS. a small town south of Starkville, MS. He has an associates degree in industrial maintenance and a bachelors degree in computer science.

Caleb has worked for SafTCart for six months now, having taken on the duties of maintaining and controlling the laser tables used in parts production. He nests parts in 4x10 and 5x10 sheet metal (the act of aligning the cuts in the software is called nesting). In addition to operating new software, he also performs maintenance on the tables if they were to ever break down. Lastly, he schedules when what part will be cut next, ensuring the proper parts are produced when the production line calls for them.

Caleb states that he enjoys his job and everything he has learned. He says he has learned a lot about the steel and welding industries as well as operational skills in keeping SafTCart running. Caleb enjoys fishing and hunting and has found a home here in the Mississippi Delta. We are glad to have him as a part of the SafTCart family.

Color Coded Medical

Did you know we provide our MDE medical line in three colors to aid in identifying the current capacity of a tank? There is the standard green cart with yellow and red augments. The three colors are useful in identifying how full the D and E cylinders are, with green signaling full, yellow meaning half full, and red being empty. Just another way SafTCart assists the medical industry with the request of the Joint Commission, the gold standard for patient safety and care.
