"Celebrate! Messiah and Carol Sing-Along" on Friday, December 14 from 7:30 to 9 pm at First Congregational Church in Middleborough. The Annual New Bedford 5k Santa Run! The race kicks off at MacArthur Drive and Union Street at 1 pm. A Santa suit is included in each entry fee. Family Trees: A Celebration of Children's Literature is a month-long celebration of 31 trees and wreaths of all shapes and sizes, ornamented with inspiration from contemporary and classic children's books. It will run through January 1 at the Concord Museum's new Anna and Neil Rasmussen Education Center! Visitors will see trees creatively decorated in the themes of such books as
Grandma's Purse by Vanessa Brantley-Newton,
A Snowy Nap by Jan Brett;
The Book Tree by Paul Czajak;
Unplugged by Steve Antony and
100 Bugs by Kate Narita. In celebration of the Louisa May Alcott's 150th anniversary, a special
