Fall is here and now is the time to gear up for the cold weather ahead. Take a look at some of the tips below to help transition your spa into the cooler months.

Keeping your spa open through the winter months?

Be sure to Drain and Clean your spa before the freezing temperatures arrive. You’ll want a fresh fill with new water to ensure your water lasts throughout the winter season. We recommend scheduling your drain and clean service every 3-4 months. To ensure prompt service and to avoid freezing temperatures, we recommend scheduling the service during November, March, and July

Check your filters!

Be sure to remove your filters and give them a good clean/rinse to remove excess debris and allow for proper water flow. This is also a good time to inspect your filters for any damage in case they need replacing. We always recommend having a second set of filters on hand!

Check your accessories!

Be sure to take a good look at your cover and cover lifter to ensure all are in good, working condition. As the years go by the spa cover foam can become saturated with water and will become heavy. The saturated cover does not give the same

R factor for insulation as it does when it is new. As well, a heavy tub cover can put stress on your cover lifter and damage the shocks or support brackets.
