Greetings!

I always love time-lapse footage,
because it reveals things occurring
over time that one could never see
with one's naked eyes.

This is the story behind the Google and
NASA partnership, that reveals how
Earth is radically changing over the
decades.

It shows the Canadian Tar Sands
project, mining activities in Wyoming,
the rapid growth of Shanghai, China
and the artificial islands of Dubai,
United Arab Emirates, among others.

As Google's Engineering Manager for
Google Earth Outreach and Earth Engine,
Rebecca Moore states, "When you see the
disappearing Amazon Rainforest, it's pretty
shocking."
