Take Care of Your Teeth. Take Care of Yourself.
Oral health is vital to overall health and well-being. Dental caries (cavities) is the most common chronic disease among children and adults in the United States. Oral diseases like tooth decay, gum disease, and oral cancer greatly impact daily life, including speaking, eating, and interacting with others.1
Is it Time to Change Your Toothbrush?
Are the bristles on your toothbrush noticeably worn or matted? Have you been using the same toothbrush for several months? If so, you should replace it because it may not be as effective at cleaning your teeth. That’s why the American Dental Association (ADA) recommends you replace your toothbrush every three to four months.

Give your toothbrush the best shot at taking great care of your teeth. Be sure to keep your toothbrush clean, avoid storing multiple toothbrushes side by side and don't share. Your tooth brush should be yours alone. Happy brushing!
What's the "Wordle" For Teeth?
The popular web-based word game Wordle now has a dental-focused version thanks to the American Dental Association (ADA).

Aptly called Dentle, players have six attempts to guess a five-letter word. Each guess will indicate whether a letter is within the word or occupies the correct box.

Dentle, created by the ADA Business Group, is free. Each daily five-letter word will be related to the practice of dentistry, such as “decay” and “brush.” Each daily word will be the same for everyone.
