Highlights from The Community Model Seder
Tikvah’s Annual Passover Model Seder took place on Sunday, March 19th at KleinLife in Northeast Philadelphia. The program, which oriented participants to the traditions of the holiday, was conducted by Rabbi Ephraim Levin and song leader Yossi Stern. The meal, featuring holiday favorites such as gefilte fish, broccoli kugel and sweet and sour meatballs came from House of Kosher. Tikvah Friends and Family volunteers along with members of the Board of Directors and staff set up and served the meal. For some members of Tikvah this was the only Passover holiday experience they will attend this year.
Friends and Family Volunteers: David & Dorothea Brown, Staci Hershman, Stuart Hershman, Shelley Quigley, Judy Weinberger, Brandy Wasilewski, Albert Zbik
Board of Directors Volunteers: Neen Davis, Marissa Diorio, Rabbi Ephraim Levin, Robert Singer, Michael Solomon, Bob Wenger

Resource Spotlight: YANApodcast
Yanapodcast is an amazing resource through NAMI Philadelphia. They interview young adults who live with mental illness and are on a mission to reduce stigma on mental health topics. Below is a description from their website of what they do.
"YOU ARE NOT ALONE (YANA)!!! The YANApodcast is a mental health podcast! This podcast is hosted by the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Philadelphia, PA affiliate. We aim to create a space of safety, a space of love and acceptance and a space that is free of judgment and stigma. Come hang with us as we talk with youth and young adults impacted by mental illness. We will hear their powerful stories, learn how we can reach out for help when we need it and shatter stigma together!"
