Tiger Trails Returns Wednesday, March 6th

Who? K-5 students

What? Run/walk the tiger “tracks” circling the playground to earn “foot” tokens (& necklace) for achieving distance goals (1 mile, 5 miles, 10 miles, etc.)

When? Wednesdays at lunch recess (11:40-12:20) resuming March 6st, 2024 (*canceled if there is rainy day recess)

Why? Being active is good for you! Provides another option for recess that kids can do solo, or it’s a chance to just chat or problem-solve with friends while walking.

How? Parent volunteers pass out kids’ individual lap counting cards, mark completed laps, and cheer kids on. Kids just need to grab their card at their grade’s “station” on the playground and follow the trail!

Parents,  if you are interested in volunteering, let us know! Blainetigertrails@gmail.com

Encourage your kids to get active and participate!

Go Tigers!!!
