Honouring Gilles Paquin and Brian Chater on Friday May 9, 2014 at The Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre Hotel Ballroom

The 8th Annual MMF Canada Honour Roll Awards Reception and Dinner will be taking place at The Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre Hotel Ballroom on Friday May 9, 2014. A marquee event during Canadian Music Week, this year's Honour Roll will honour Gilles Paquin.  The late Brian Chater is the recipient of the 2014 Pioneer Award, and the award name is being changed to the Brian Chater Pioneer Award. Tickets for this event are $100 each, corporate tables of 10 are available.

The MMF Canada Honour Roll Award is presented each year to recognize outstanding achievements and excellence in Canadian and international Artist Management. This year, Gilles Paquin will join our previous inductees on the MMF Honour Roll.  

Previous inductees include Jake Gold, Larry Wanagas, Terry McBride, Sam Feldman, Ray Danniels, Bruce Allen and Bernie Finkelstein.

Four years ago, the MMF began a new tradition: MMF Canada's Pioneer Award. This award was created to pay homage to the efforts of those who have been instrumental in creating the framework for Artist Management in the Canadian Entertainment industries.  This year the MMF will be honouring the late Brian Chater, and will be changing the name of the award to the Brian Chater Pioneer Award. Previous inductees include Steve Propas & Neill Dixon, Donald K Tarlton, Terry Flood, Mary Martin and Leonard Rambeau.

The Honour Roll Reception will take place on Friday May 9, 2014 during Canadian Music Week, at The Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre Hotel Ballroom (525 Bay Street, Toronto, lower level). This is an intimate event, with a limited number of tickets. The evening will commence with a cocktail reception at 5pm, followed by a fine dinner.
