Thumbs Up & Thumbs Down

Why do faculty members give me a “thumbs up” in the lot?

During Pick Up and Drop Off, Faculty will verify if you are able to leave the lot with a Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down Signal. If faculty shows you a “Thumbs Up”, please respond either with a “Thumbs Up” which means that you can leave the lot, or a “Thumbs Down” which means you cannot leave the lot yet.

AM Drop off – “Thumbs Up / Thumbs Down”

“Thumbs Up” means “I can leave the lot! I have dropped off my student/students.”

Thumbs Down” means “I cannot leave the lot! I have not dropped off my student/students”

PM Pick Up - “Thumbs Up / Thumbs Down”

“Thumbs Up” means “I can leave the lot! I have picked up my student/students.”

“Thumbs Down” means “I cannot leave the lot! I have not picked up my student/students yet.”

Arrive by 7:48 am so that your child can hear the announcements at 7:50 am!

We will begin counting morning tardies next week as we move toward our usual 7:50 am cutoff time.

Also, we kindly ask that parents remain in their vehicles throughout the pickup or drop-off process!

The goal is to have cars moving efficiently and safely through the lot! Remember our staff is ready to help!

Kindergarten Family's-Homework, try to teach your kindergarteners to unbuckle their own seatbelts and have their backpacks at the ready to leave the car. Thank you, Griffins!

Just for a reminder, below are our pick-up waves, it all works better when we follow them.
