The Mindfulness Collaboratory, created by Dr. Esmilda Abreu and Rhonda Schaller, MPS, MBSR from Pratt Institute, invites you to learn about our upcoming program, The Mindfulness Collaboratory: Leading by Intention. This program focuses on contemplative leaders setting intentions to create resilient artistic communities through individual meditation skill share, collective support, and mindful leadership. Participants will meet periodically over the course of 2025 to learn, meditate, discuss, grow, and lead together which will culminate in a capstone project shared with the group in early 2026.

The True/False Film Fest 2025 is seeking visual artists for a virtual residency program culminating in art installations displayed throughout Columbia, Missouri during the festival. This is a great opportunity for emerging and mid-career artists, especially those underrepresented in the art world. The five-week virtual residency offers professional development, networking, and a stipend for your artwork. The theme for 2025 is "ALL THE TIME." Proposals for dynamic, large-scale installations, projections, or performance pieces that can be adapted to various unconventional venues (lobbies, hallways, etc.) are encouraged.
Proposal Deadline: September 1, 2024
Stipend: $1,000
Festival Dates: February 27, 2024 - March 2, 2024

Apply: Princeton Arts Fellowship
The Princeton Arts Fellowships offer a two-year residency at Princeton University for early-career artists. Fellows receive an annual stipend, teach one course per semester, and contribute to the artistic community. Artists of all disciplines (visual arts, film, writing, etc.) are encouraged to apply if they have exceptional promise and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Deadline: September 10, 2024

Apply: Center for Book Arts - Artists-in-Residence
Each year, the Center for Book Arts offers up to six New York-based emerging and mid-career artists a year-long residency, providing space, time, and financial support to explore and exhibit artists' books. The program encourages experimentation and welcomes applicants from diverse cultural backgrounds. Applications are reviewed blindly by an independent panel of arts professionals.
Deadline: September 15, 2024
Awards: $1,500 and $6,000 tuition waiver
