Welcome aboard, Aiden Coker!

Aiden joins us from the Seattle area, drawn by the allure of the Cascade Mountains and their abundant outdoor activities. Previously, he worked as a permit tech for a local county jurisdiction. Outside of work, Aiden is a dedicated volunteer firefighter.


We’re thrilled to have him as our new Permit Tech for the City. Feel free to reach out to him for all your permit needs.

Project Tracker

The parking area at the Leavenworth Public Boat Launch will close for two days this week for dust abatement measures

The parking area and access at the Leavenworth Public Boat Launch (off East Leavenworth Road) will be CLOSED for dust abatement on July 16 and 17.

 

Tuesday, July 16 – Site prep work

Wednesday, July 17 – The contractor will apply dust control material


All vehicles must exit the area by 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. Violators will be towed at the owner's expense.

WSDOT's paving project will fix a busy stretch of US 2 from Leavenworth to Big Y

Starting July 8, contractors will repair the pavement, closing the book on the project started in 2023. Project work will also involve bridge joint repairs in Leavenworth, over the Wenatchee River, which is scheduled to last until July 17. Bridge work will occur in the daytime, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Thursday.


The paving work is scheduled to last until early August and will occur at night from July 8-Aug. 5, from 8 p.m.-6 a.m. from Monday to Thursday. Work includes such tasks as fog sealing, pavement marking, electrical work, etc. Travelers should expect lane closures and flagger-controlled traffic during working hours.


Updates on traffic control will be posted on WSDOT's real-time travel map.

Link Transit provides a new, local route for Leavenworth

Link's Route 32 operates 7 days a week between the Wilkommen Park and Ride and Icicle Road. Service runs from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ALL Link Transit service is fare-free.


All bus stops are posted with this information, and the myStop mobile app has the real-time information for this route and all other Link routes.
