Dear Residents,

We have received an influx of ARB applications for fences. To assist you with your submittal, the following items should be provided:

-a completed application

-a site plan clearly labeled with the desired location of the fence

-the height of the fence

-style of fence

-the material fence

-if a neighbor(s) has a fence, please note it, if applicable

-$25 ARB fee payable to CCCA

Note: Fences are required to be painted or stained Charleston Green

The fence height and material may vary depending on the location of your lot. Please reference pages 6-8 and 22 of the CCCA Design Guidelines which are posted on the Carnes POA website www.mycarnescrossroads.com. ARB requests may be submitted to lwhite@ccmcnet.com.

We are excited to announce that the new Carnes Crossroads community website is live! We have been working hard behind the scenes to give the website a face-lift, and we hope you enjoy the new look and ease of access to information.

The new website is live at the new domain www.mycarnescrossroads.com. On the new website, residents will be able to RSVP to events, submit maintenance requests, and easily access HOA documents such as ARB applications, policies, and governing documents. Create Your Account

Most of the information is public on the website currently, as everyone is getting used to the new platform. However, in the future, we will make community documents and financials private, so all residents need to create an account. To gain access, you can request an account by clicking "Register" in the upper right-hand corner. Your login details will be sent to the email address you provide once the administrator approves your account.

Chuck Ehl is announcing the second year of the Carnes Golf League! "Starting this year on May 22nd and we will be playing on Mondays weekly at 4:30 PM. If you have interest please message me and we will get you connected. There will be two person teams of which you need not have a partner to join as we will connect you. Also gals, you are invited to join as well! We have a variety of fun outings throughout the year and generally on Saturdays so keep watching for the announcements! Mahjong Club

When: February 10th 1PM-3PM

Where: Green Barn

Every Friday 1PM-3PM. Resident Marianne H. and friends have started a Mahjong Group. This group will focus on teaching beginners how to play until they can get an official league started. If you are interested in learning or you are an experienced player wanting to join, please reach out to Marianne H. (peachpit247@icloud.com) so that she can save your contact for the email thread.

Chili Cook-off

When: February 11th 6-8PM

Contestants: Please have your chili setup in the barn and ready for the judges to start tasting by 5:30pm.

BUNCO

When: February 16th 6-8PM

Where: Green Barn

A fun, fast, dice game. You must be able to throw dice, talk, move around to different tables, and win $. Experience is not required. Cost: $5 each (cash only) small bills, please. Adults only please - BYODrink

5th Annual Oyster Roast

Tickets are $20 per Oyster "eater". Save your ticket receipt to show at the door for the Oyster Roast entry. If you would like to come to the event but prefer another food option, please bring a dish to share as a pot luck style dinner.

Food Truck Friday
