Dear Residents,
We hope you've been able to take advantage of the great weather of late and are making preparations for spring landscape maintenance and initiating irrigation. Below are some upcoming maintenance items that will be going on in the POA common areas:
-fertilizing or ornamental shrubs
-insecticide/fungicide ornamentals as needed
-begin plant growth regulator applications
-begin fresh pine straw or mulch application
-pressure washing amenity areas
-replacing pet waste stations as appropriate
Preparations are underway for the 2023 pool season. The pool is scheduled to open on April 1st.
In Case You Didn't Know:
If you have household or bulk items you wish to discard, they must be scheduled for pick up from the Sanitation Division by calling (843)824-2200.
If you should encounter injured or deceased wildlife on your property, you may contact Keeper of the Wild at (843)636-1659. Their website https://keeperofthewild.org/ has instructions on how to deal with different animals. You may be asked to text a picture of the animal. Stay a safe distance back and use zoom on your mobile phone to take pictures. Keeper of the Wild will pass the information on to local organizations and volunteers.
The City of Goose Creek has a leash law. Pet owners are responsible for reasonably controlling their pet(s) whenever outside their property. Owners are responsible for all of the pet's actions including cleaning up any pet waste.
Boats are not permitted to be parked on the street or in driveways. A boat is considered a recreational vehicle and should be parked in the garage where it is not visible from the street or adjacent properties.
If you are in need of a replacement pool fob, please come to the POA office during business hours to get a replacement. If you are not available during business hours, please email lcollins@ccmcnet.com to schedule another time to pick up a replacement fob. Replacement fobs are $25.
Don't forget to spring forward...Daylight Saving Time starts this Sunday!
