TCACC asked conference attendeesto participate in a very important and commonly overlooked collection for those throughout our community that are experiencing period poverty, the inability to afford toiletries and items such as tampons and pads. Forty million around the world are affected by period poverty. This can prevent women from participating in the workforce, which can have significant economic implications for them and their families. Conference attendees showed an outpouring of love and generosity with their donations.
