Opening Doors is pleased to announce the appointment of Rommel Loria as the new board chair for a three-year term from January 2023.

mission of Opening Doors.”
Rommel Loria comes with extensive experience working with independent schools where he promoted diversity and inclusive culture. He is currently Assistant Head of School at Sonoma Academy. Previously, Rommel worked as a practicing attorney in civil litigation with Brown & Sheehan in Baltimore, where he provided pro bono Immigration Legal Services to youth and families at the Esperanza Center.
Rommel earned a BS in Business Administration from Georgetown University and MA in Liberal Studies from Johns Hopkins University. He also holds a JD from the University of Maryland, where he was Associate Editor of the Maryland Law Review.
