Sharing Successes

What is in a name?

ο»ΏCity of Dallas adopts a formal definition of "antisemitism."

From lighting the AT&T Discovery Plaza and Bank of America Plaza blue for Yom Ha'atzmaut, to passing a meaningful resolution condemning and defining antisemitism, the City of Dallas showed unwavering support for our community this week.

Thank you to Mayor Johnson and the Dallas City Council for this unanimous support. The efforts of AJC Dallas and ADL Texoma allow Jewish Dallas to feel seen, heard, and respected. We are grateful to the tireless efforts and advocacy of Jaynie Schultz (Dallas, District 11), and Cara Mendelsohn for (Dallas, District 12) and the Mayor's Anti-Hate Advisory Council, co-chaired by our Board Vice-chair Sherry Goldberg.

Training Tomorrow’s Leaders in Safety and Security

Props to our young adults from Dallas BBYO and students from UNT Hillel for their recent participation in active shooter training with our Security Director, Bill Humphrey, a former Dallas Deputy Chief of Police.

Training covered essential scenarios such as run, hide, and fight, and was designed to help our Jewish community prepare for any situation that may arise.

Reach out to arrange for training and let's work together to build a stronger, and safer community.
