Saturday's Rake the Town has been canceled due to this week's snowfall. Still, making a habit of volunteering is an excellent trait for developing and building community involvement and leadership.

HONORING NATIVE AMERICANS

American Indian Affairs welcomes Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan as the keynote speaker at the annual American Indian Night on Monday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m. in the Centennial Student Union Ballroom.

DANCE MOVEMENT THERAPY
REGAINING POWER AFTER TRAUMA
Women's Center and the Violence Awareness Response Program (V.A.R.P.) is introducing a new event focused on Dance Movement Therapy (DMT). DMT is a new way to connect creative expression to the healing process for victims and survivors of trauma.

Veterans Day is right around the corner. Veterans Day honors all of those who have served the country in war or peace. Whether or not you know someone who served in the military or you served yourself, Veterans Day is a holiday worth observing. There are around 18 million veterans living in the U.S.—here are some things to remember when honoring them on November 11.

A CELEBRATION OF ASIAN CULTURE
The Kearney Center for International Students and the International Student Association is hosting this year's Asian Night. Asian Night is a celebration of Asian culture featuring ten countries from the continent.

GO TO AN ART MUSEUM DAY!

Remember how excited you were to go on a field trip as a kid? The thought about going on an adventure - and of course skipping school- was a thrill. Hands-on learning is what always made those field trips so exciting and that’s why over 30,000 art museums celebrate Go to an Art Museum Day on November 9th. Going to a museum here at MNSU isn’t that hard when we have one right here in the CSU!

CSU PREMIERES OPEN MIC
SPOTLIGHT ON STUDENT TALENT
A new Open Mic Series hosted by the Centennial Student Union premieres this Friday, Nov. 8, at 4 p.m. in Jazzman's on the CSU Main Level. Goal of the series is an ongoing spotlight on student self-expression. Students can register to participate in music, comedy, poetry, theatre monologues and more.
