The City Commission will gather for a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, June 11 at 6:30 PM at City Hall located at 9090 SW 50 Place.

Lift Station Rehabilitation
Our Utilities Department continues to oversee the rehabilitation of Lift Station #3, which is located along SW 50 Court between SW 94 Way and SW 94 Terrace. Due to the project, a small section of SW 50 Court will intermittently close as the work progresses.

A Look Back at Last Week's Check Presentation
Cooper City received $959,000 in federal funding, thanks to a recent Congressional bill, that will significantly boost the City’s ability to rehabilitate aging sections of our wastewater collection system.
Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has been instrumental in securing this vital funding and led a check presentation alongside Mayor Greg Ross and our City Commission.

Field Closures
Routine Maintenance
Please be aware the football and soccer fields at Bill Lips Sports Complex and Suellen H. Fardelmann Sports Complex are closed for sod replacement. This project is part of annual maintenance to ensure the fields are prepared for the upcoming recreational seasons.
- Bill Lips Sports Complex football/soccer fields will reopen on Saturday, August 3.
- Suellen H. Fardelmann Sports Complex football/soccer fields will reopen on Saturday, August 17.

The S.T.A.R.S. program (Safer Through Active Real-Time Strategies) directly connects your security cameras to the Cooper City Real Time Crime Center.
Through the City of Cooper City, there is a grant program to help Homeowners Associations and nonprofit entities partner with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Cooper City District and protect your community!
This innovative Public-Private Partnership allows the BSO Cooper City District Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) access to live video to help stop crime and catch criminals. If your organization is interested in participating in this grant opportunity, don't delay - the deadline to apply is June 30!

The Open House for all those registered for Cooper City's Summer Camp will now be held on Tuesday, June 11, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Community Center.

Enhancing Electronic Payments | |
The City of Cooper City will be implementing new electronic payment options this summer. We are finalizing details and will soon roll out the new service to help more residents and businesses utilize electronic bill pay.
If you already make payments online or are enrolled in autopay, for purposes such as paying your Utility bill, no action will be necessary.
This new service will help the City accept payments via Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Venmo to compliment credit card, debit card, and e-check payments.

Join the Walking Club at Flamingo West Park every Monday evening from 7 to 8 PM. This group offers a great opportunity to get exercise while socializing and making new friends.

The Cooper City Fitness Center is located at the Pool and Tennis Center. Explore your health insurance for membership benefits. An individual annual gym membership starts at only $85.60 for seniors (age 62+). An individual annual membership for Cooper City residents, age 14-61, is $139.10.

Home Watch Program
Did you know the Broward Sheriff's Office Cooper City District has a free Home Watch Program?
With this program, a deputy will check your home regularly while you are away. An exterior check of your home will be conducted to make sure there have been no unlawful entries and that no other obvious problems have occurred outside of your home.
To sign up for this FREE service, please fill out the Home Watch form and visit the BSO Cooper City District Office (10580 Stirling Rd.) to complete registration.

Fingerprinting Services
Our BSO Cooper City District is now offering free fingerprinting services to Cooper City residents and business owners, with proof of residency or business required. Those wishing to have fingerprinting done at the BSO Cooper City Station must bring their own fingerprint card.
Fingerprinting is available by appointment only on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to noon and Thursdays from noon to 3 p.m.

In the event a Cooper City resident calls 911 and there is no answer, Cooper City residents can call the BSO Cooper City station directly by dialing 954-435-2000. Cooper City's BSO station is the only BSO district to staff a lobby 24/7, 365 days a year.
