Enjoying a Life of Health and Healing

Lord, Because You have instructed us in Your Word that we are to pray for one another so that we may be healed, I pray for healing and wholeness for (name of child). I pray that sickness and infirmity will have no place or power in his life. I pray for protection against any disease coming into his body. Your Word says, "He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). Wherever there is disease, illness, or infirmity in his body, I pray that You, Lord, would touch him with Your healing power and restore him to total health.

Deliver him from any destruction or injury that could come upon him. Specifically, I ask You to heal (name of specific problem). If we are to see a doctor, I pray that You, Lord, would show us who that should be. Give that doctor wisdom and full knowledge of the best way to proceed. Thank you, Lord, that You suffered and died for us so that we might be healed. I lay claim to that heritage of healing which You have promised in Your Word and provided for those who believe. I look to You for a life of health, healing and wholeness for my child.

Amen.

Family Ministry News!

This Week... Join us on Sunday for some Fun & Fellowship!

Parents Night Out was fun and fruitful! The goal of Parents Night Out is to provide a night out for parents to enjoy each other and strengthen their marriage. An added bonus, free childcare and discussion prompts! While the children enjoyed a great night of fellowship, games, pizza, cupcakes and a movie...

the parents were asked to spend intentional time with each other, using discussion prompts to help encourage healthy relationships and communication.

Join us at our next Parents Night Out in December... until then, pick up a copy of

Why Sunday School?

This is a dedicated time for your children to be engaged on multiple levels by the gospel--whether through hands-on activities, Bible-focused games, or an age-appropriate lesson given by one of our wonderful Sunday School teachers.

We are learning to know God's word as it is revealed in Scripture and to live a life that pleases Him, by applying Biblical truth to our lives. Sunday School is designed especially for students K - 5th grade to help them think and act like Jesus. Each lesson is written at age appropriate levels for early, middle, and upper elementary students. We are intentionally engaging and developing students with games, activities, and practical application that promote character development and spiritual growth.

To continue to offer wonderful Bible-Focused classes for children on Sundays...

We need volunteers!

Lemonade for Missions

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

Next Lemonade for Missions will be Sunday, October 27th...sign up below.

Join us as we serve Lemonade with some warm hospitality and raise money for missions. In the last year our little Lemonade for Missions stand raised over $3000 that went straight to missions. Let's see how the Lord will bless our efforts this year as we seek to spread the gospel to the world. There are two shifts, one after the 8am service and one after the 11am service... no shifts after the 9am because we want to give all of our Lemondade workers a break to go to Sunday School;).

Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. If you are not able to help this month, sign up for a month to come...a simple way to support missions in our community and beyond... Thank you!

Woman to woman. Older to younger. Day to day. Life to life.

This is God’s beautiful plan.

The Titus 2 model of older women living out the gospel alongside younger women is vital for us all to thrive. It is mutually strengthening, glorifies God, and makes His truth believable to our world.

Imagine older women investing themselves in the lives of younger women, blessing whole families and churches. Imagine young wives, moms, and singles gaining wisdom and encouragement from women who’ve been there and have found God’s ways to be true and good. Imagine all women—from older women to young girls—living out His transforming gospel together, growing the entire body of Christ to be more beautiful.

This is Christian community as God designed it. Read this book and take your relationships to new depths, that your life might find its fullest meaning as you adorn the gospel of Christ.
