Leadership Meeting

We will be having our monthly Leadership meeting on Sunday, September 1st at 4:30 pm, in the Fellowship Hall. If you are involved in overseeing a ministry or in a leadership capacity, please attend. Please direct questions to Pastor Mario Alvarez.

Women's Ministry Brunch – "Sweeter Than Honey"

The Women’s Ministry will be hosting a Brunch

at the Double Tree Hotel, Madera Ballroom in Monrovia on Saturday, September 14th from 10:00 am–1:00 pm. Our speaker Donna Moore will share on the topic “Sweeter Than Honey” taken from Psalms 119:103. Cost is $32 per person; tickets are available in the Church Office (No refunds). Pray about bringing a friend!

Must be 16 and older to attend. Sorry, no childcare available.

Missions Ministry Outreach

The Mission’s Ministry is preparing for a Medical Outreach in the community of Colonial La Gloria in Baja Mexico, Saturday, September 21st. There will be a meeting on Sunday, September 15th at 1:15 pm, in the Gymnasium for all those planning on participating. Please direct questions to Pastor Tony Scotti.

Prayer Ministry

The Prayer Ministry will be holding their monthly meeting on Sunday, September 22nd at 1:30 pm, in the Sanctuary. The meeting is for all those currently involved. If you are interested in getting involved, please direct questions to Pastor Mario Alvarez.

Youth Ministry Lock-In (Sleepover)

“Works or Fruit” taken from Galatians 5:16-18, is this year’s theme for the Youth Ministry’s annual Lock-in (Sleepover), 7th–12th grade youth are invited to come participate for a time of fellowship, worship and the Word. The cost is $15 per person, includes dinner and breakfast. Sign-ups are being taken in the Front Office. Please direct inquiries to Pastor Diego Festa.

•Guys will be from 6:00 pm on Friday, September 27th – 9:30 am on Saturday, September 28th.

•Girls will be from 6:00 pm on Friday, October 11th – 9:30 am on Saturday, October 12th.

Marriage Ministry

The Marriage Fellowship is meeting for biblical instruction and fellowship for our marriages on Saturday, September 28th, at 6:00 pm. We are continuing in this year’s theme “Homeland Security.” Protecting Marriage and the Family. We are going to focus on biblical truths that will protect our marriages from the threats we face from the world, the flesh, and the enemy. The topic for the month of September is “The New Conduct of a Marriage in Christ,” Ephesians 4:17-32.

Join our world-class potluck by bringing a main dish, side dish or dessert to share with the other married couples. Childcare is not provided. We want this to be a special evening for just you and your spouse. Please direct questions to Pastor Henry Duran.
