This Week at Temple Emanuel

A Note From Our Financial Team

Temple Emanuel 2022

Year-End Donor Statements

I will be emailing Tax Year 2022 Donor Statements in January, by request.  Please email Jocelyn, or call me at the office 480.838.1414 ext. 14 to request your statement. Please indicate whether you would prefer to receive a paper copy in the mail, vs. an emailed version. I am happy to accommodate your request.

If you’d like to make an additional gift for the tax year ending December 31, 2022, please make your gift online, or provide a check to the office by Friday, December 30. As long as your check is dated and/or donation is postmarked no later than December 31, I will make sure it is included in your year-end statement.

Thank you for your support of our community in 2022. Your tax-deductible gifts are deeply appreciated.

In addition to monetary donations, we are able to accept donations of stock or vehicles (avoid the hassle of selling your used vehicle).

With gratitude,

Jocelyn Richards

Director of Finance

Bat Mitzvah Ceremony of Lily Goldstein

10:30 am | Live and Interactive on Zoom or In-person via RSVP

Meeting ID: 970 5909 1302  Passcode: Mitzvah

Lily Goldstein will celebrate becoming a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, January 21, 2023, joined by her proud parents Precy and Ben Goldstein, and her sister Lucy. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy and Harvey Goldstein of Pittsburgh, PA, and Millionita Dizon and the late Modesto Dizon of Honolulu, HI.

Lily is currently in the seventh grade and enjoys playing tennis and golf. She also enjoys ballet and has a love of art.

For her Bat Mitzvah Project, she practiced acts of kindness in many different ways. Some of the more notable ways were preparing and distributing care packages to the less fortunate and unhoused in her community. Additionally, she spent time visiting a senior living facility where she distributed warm fuzzy socks to the residents, and spent time visiting with those who may not receive visitors often.

Mazel tov, Lily!
