Celebrating All Who Mother

Thank you for the countless sacrifices you make day in and day out of love for your children. What a beautiful reflection of God’s selfless love.

May God Bless You With His Peace, Love & Joy!

We want to celebrate all Moms and Grands this Sunday with Blessings, a pamper station, muffins for Mom and photo booth.

Photo Booth

A great opportunity to gather your family and make a memory by taking a family photo. You might choose to use it to update your photo in the directory as well. Stop by the Parish Hall to have a fresh family or individual photo taken.

Please also check out your family's entry in the church directory and mark up anything that is outdated.

Muffins for Moms

While waiting to have your picture taken, enjoy a muffin in honor of Mother's Day.

Noon & Evening Prayer

Weekdays May 9-17

Join us for 10 days of weekday prayer in the St. Timothy's chapel. We will meet both at noon for noonday prayer and at 5:15 for evening prayer. Evening prayer will also be available via live stream to the St. Timothy's Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/StTimothysLJ.

Tabatha's Guild is back this Saturday. We will be learning how to make these fish-themed beach/laundry bags.

We also have a request to make durags for workers who have to wear a hard hat, so we'll give that a try.

Wanted: Church Directory Photos

On Mother’s Day: Plan on getting your photo taken by yourself or with your family. A great and timeless gift for your Mom.

You may elect to have your photo put in the directory and/or printed.

As we have new people come among us we will be sharing their photos. Help them recognize you by having a current photo in the directory.

The church directory app is called Instant Church Directory. To participate in the directory, a valid email account is needed to connect. You may also request a printed copy of the directory from the church office, (office@stimothy.org.)

Service Opportunities

Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

Saturday, May 11

The upcoming postal food drive on May 11 is a fantastic initiative that encourages community members to support those in need by leaving donations by or in mailboxes. This simple act of kindness not only helps address food insecurity but also fosters a sense of unity and generosity within the neighborhood. So, let's all come together and make a difference by participating in this wonderful event!

Volunteers are needed to unload, weigh and sort through donations. Some lifting is necessary. We are seeking volunteers to arrive at 5pm at the Food Basket, (1 Wesley Drive, Clute.)

Got questions? Reach out to the Griners or Klorers.

Sunday's Sermon

We had technology problems that prevented us from streaming Sunday's service. The problem has been resolved, and we plan to be back to normal this week.

"Lessons Learned From a Garage Sale"

We recently stopped by a garage sale in our neighborhood. When talking with the owners, they told us that they have been having a spring garage sale every couple of years ever since they moved into their home some twenty years ago. They said it was the perfect combination of spring cleaning and the need to remember to regularly let go of things they don't need anymore. We were so inspired that we are now seriously thinking of having a similar sale ourselves.
