Sunday School in July!
Genesis Bible Study & Preaching Series this July
Teach Sunday School this Fall
From the Rector

Dear St. Patrick's,

Grace and peace. Last week, I spent time with eight St. Patrick's kids and hundreds of others at Camp Wright on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay. Camp Wright is the diocesan camp for the Diocese of Easton. Last week's session included kids from age 7-14 in the residential camp and even younger in the day camp program. My week was spent teaching on the theme of peace. It is a blessing to realize that the Church's work is bigger than the things we do in our church. I look forward to continuing to build a strong relationship between St. Patrick's and Camp Wright over the next several years (see pictures below).

I returned to the July 4th weekend. Many St. Patrick's parishioners marched in the annual Palisades Parade including Lalie Tongour (Martha Washington) who was interviewed by the Washington Times (see picture).

Next Monday, we look forward to the beginning of the Rev. Dr. Janet Zimmerman's ministry at St. Patrick's. I called Janet in May to serve St. Patrick's as Associate Rector and Day School Chaplain. Events to meet Janet will be announced once she hits the ground and we determine her calendar. I know that St. Patrick's will offer a characteristically warm welcome to Janet and her husband Sey. I wish you well and hope that you are enjoying a relaxing summer. Don't let us get lonely. We would love to see you on Sunday or during the week.

Faithfully,

Kurt's Signature

Read or listen to last Sunday's sermon titled, "Is this how you get a wife?" Andrea and I are preaching on the lessons from Genesis for the next month. This is the second in the series. Bible classes during the week are running concurrently (see below).

piano graphicCalling all youth musicians!  School's out so spend some of that extra energy brushing up one of your instrumental pieces.  We will have a Youth Music Series on Sunday mornings in August and hope you will consider sharing some of your music with us.  Just let us know when you will be in town, what you have ready to play, and we'll schedule you for a music slot during our worship service.
