This Week at Midreshet Moriah
Parshat Pikudei, March 9th, 2 Adar B
Chamesh Megillot with Malka Hubscher:
We were discussing Esther's dilemma: if she should risk her life to try to save the Jewish people, or hide in the palace and save herself.
Philosophical Issues in Tanach with Neima Novetsky:
We were learning about the nature of Nevuah. Some questions we addressed: Can anyone, if they train, prepare and perfect themselves become a Navi? Can a Navi ever make a mistake? And how much autonomy, if any, does a Navi have?
