Indoors! Week 12 February 13, 2011
Every Sunday, Rain, Snow, or Shine! Now through March 27 10am-2pm
|
Greetings!
I hope that you are keeping warm this week. It's going to feel like a heat wave with temperatures reaching into the low 40's. Just in time for Sunday. So it will be a great time to get out of your house and come visit the Market. Do you still have to buy a Valentine for that special someone? Stop by the market to pick some thing up. Whether it's a bag of coffee from Campo Rey, a special tea mix from SenTeaMental Moods, heart shaped Alfajores from Lucila's Homemade, something from Co-op Sauce, or one of the other wonderful, locally produced items from our vendors. But of course, nothing says "I love you" more than a pound of bacon (hmmm). Pussy Willows at the market There will be a new vendor on Sunday,
R Reyes & Sons Flower Growers. Rufus Reyes will be selling fresh-cut Pussy Willows. Rufus, who, years ago was involved in the original Logan Square Farmers Market, back when it was in the Emmet Street parking lot! ____________ Because of the addition of some farmers/vendors the market layout may have changed and some farmers/vendors are at different spots at the Congress. So, if you're missing your favorite vendor, double check to make sure that they haven't just changed location. Remember you can always come see me at the Chamber table if you can't find a vendor. See you at the Market. John Pennycuff Market Manager |
