Upcoming Events
Volunteers still needed for RAIHN Week, July 10-17

On Sunday, July 10th we will be welcoming 4 or 5 temporarily homeless RAIHN families into our church where they will stay for the week.  Many volunteers are still needed, especially for evening meals and breakfast preparation, overnights, and Saturday evening.  Please contact Sarah Singal (ssingal@rochester.rr.com) to sign up.  Thanks!

March in the Pride Parade - July 16

March with us in the Pride Parade, starting at Alexander Street down Park Avenue toward Culver Road (yes, the route is different this year!) with other UUs behind our banner on July 16.  Gathering time is 1:00 PM.  If you purchased a First Universalist T-shirt, this is its debut.

Please sign up on the Social Justice bulletin board in the Clara Barton Lounge with your contact information or email Connie Valk at cvalk@frontiernet.net.

If you have never marched with the group before, come join us as UUs continue to take this stand for social justice.

Adult Lounge Contest Results

For the past couple of months, the Communications Committee held a contest for the renaming of the Adult Lounge.  They received many great ideas, but there was a clear winner - Congratulations to Sarah Singal for her winning submission!  The new name for the Adult Lounge will be The Chalice Room.  Thank you to everyone who participated, and thank you Sarah for your suggestion!
