Bread of Life: Church-Wide Sermon Series

Sundays, July 21- August 25

Come and join us for the tastiest sermon series you have ever heard—the Bread of Life! Bread is the foundation to civilization, making up the foundation of most diets in the world. Bread is survival, but it is also a comfort food. It can be simple or it can be elevated to a sweet delight. Bread in short is life. It is no wonder then that Jesus said that He is the “bread of life.” When our eyes are opened to the spirituality of bread, we can began to see that all of life is sacred. Each week we will have a sample of a special bread for you to “taste and see that the Lord is good.”

DAILY READINGS

Commit this season to reading scripture each day. It's good practice. If you don’t already have a daily devotion, the scriptures below are designed to expand the range of biblical reading in worship and personal devotion. You can find them in the bulletin each week. The Daily Readings are taken from “The Daily Office Lectionary” in The Book of Common Prayer. Read the Bible each week. It will be a blessing.
