Congratulations to the Tourism Related Business of the Year - Anaheim Convention Center!
The Anaheim Convention Center reigns as the largest exhibit facility on the West Coast. During the wake of the pandemic, the ACC adapted quickly in health protocols and provided tools that helped clients navigate how to meet in Anaheim safely and responsibly. ACC was the first exhibition facility on the West Coast to receive the GBAC Star Accreditation for its high standard of cleaning, disinfection and disease prevention, and proper cleaning workplace practices. The ACC also lent its space as a testing site and as Orange County’s third vaccination super pod, serving up to 5,000 individuals a day.
Congratulations to the Small Business of the Year - Pizza Press

Dara Maleki is a true American success story. Eight years ago, he took a risk and started a new restaurant in the Anaheim Resort called The Pizza Press. Thanks to a lot of hard work, perseverance, and talented employees, The Pizza Press has grown to 23 stores in 5 states.

During the dark months of the COVID-19 shutdown that devastated Resort businesses, Dara demonstrated energetic leadership as a vocal advocate on behalf of the small business community for safely re-opening. He invested countless hours spotlighting the shutdown’s terrible impact on business owners whose dreams and a lifetime of work and investment were on the line.

As he liked to say – everyone had a stake in the Resort, but the small business community had everything at stake. Anaheim is fortunate to have hard-working and conscientious business leaders like Dara Maleki.
