Anaheim Small Business Relief Grant
Through the County of Orange Third District CARES Act funding, the City of Anaheim is launching a Small Business Relief Grant for businesses within the Anaheim boundaries of Orange County supervisorial Third District. This includes parts of Anaheim Canyon and all of east Anaheim. This grant program will assist Anaheim small businesses with 25 or fewer full-time employees financially impacted by coronavirus. Applications are open through Aug. 10.
The County of Orange Fourth District Small Business Grant Relief Program will help small businesses and community organizations experiencing financial losses resulting from the pandemic. Eligible businesses within the Anaheim, La Habra and Fullerton boundaries of Orange County supervisorial Fourth District can apply for grants of up to $10,000. Applications are now open and close Aug. 22.
Westin Anaheim Resort Plans October 2020 Grand Opening
Westin Anaheim Resort, located next to Anaheim Convention Center, is scheduled to open its doors in October 2020. The 4-Diamond hotel will feature an outdoor pool, fitness center, seven restaurants and a rooftop lounge that overlooks Disneyland Resort’s firework display.

Eager Orange County craft beer enthusiasts are elated as Modern Times plunges into the heart of Anaheim. Modern Times is the latest 33,000-square-foot Modern Times luxury island paradise, which opened on July 28, 2020. It is home to a full-scale production brewery, kitchen, breathtaking beer garden, to-go mini mart, event space, and a swanky swimming pool.
The Registrar Of Voters Release Report For New Changes And Procedures For 2020 Presidential General Election
The Registrar of Voters has implemented new action plans for the 2020 Presidential General Election to provide a safe and secure environment for voters. The report covers the election planning that includes, candidate filing, recruitment, vote-by-mail voting, vote center locations, and more.

California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC)
The CCTC is an income tax credit available to businesses in California. Businesses of any industry, size, or location may compete for $180 million in tax credits. The current application period closes on August 17.
The California State Library recently introduced the California Grants Portal website with state-administered grant and loan opportunities offered on a competitive or first-come basis. Individuals, businesses and nonprofits can browse and tailor their grant and loan searches by applicant type, category and timeframe. The website lists several grants and loans in various categories including health and human services, education and more.
Paycheck Protection Program Deadline Deadline
Small businesses and eligible nonprofit organizations, veterans organizations and tribal businesses described in the Small Business Act, as well as individuals who are self-employed or are independent contractors, are eligible if they also meet program size standards. The deadline to apply is Aug. 8. Eligible recipients may qualify for a loan up to $10 million.
California Manufacturing Technology Consulting, a nonprofit consultant known as CMTC, is offering an assistance program to support California’s small and midsize manufacturers impacted by coronavirus. Manufacturers can meet with an expert business stabilization consultant who will conduct an assessment of the company’s current state.

The California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) has teamed up with Kallman Worldwide and the U.S. Commercial Service to offer California businesses an online series of virtual trade missions designed to link California suppliers directly with pre-screened international buyers, potential partners and buying authorities
