Pastor Joy will be out of the office Friday, April 5 - Sunday, April 21. If you need pastoral care, please reach out to Pastor Vickie Bossuot or Brian. | A note from Pastor Joy... | Since the end of 2021, we have been blessed to have Libby Tullis as our church Office Administrator. She has been a wonderful addition to our staff keeping the office organized, managing daily operations smoothly, and supporting our staff and ministries. In a short time, she has helped us make some great improvements, but she has also been more than an employee. Libby and Jonathan have become beloved and connected members of our church as they have opened their home, led and participated in groups, formed friendships, and generously shared their homemade treats! All of these things make it difficult to share the news that Libby has taken a new position and she and Jonathan will be moving to Vero Beach this month. Her last day with us will be April 18. Over the next few weeks, please be sure to take the opportunity to express your thanks and well wishes to Libby. She and Jonathan will be missed! | |
Nehemiah Assembly
April 15 at 6:45 pm
Our Lakewood justice ministry works with 37 other churches and congregations in Jacksonville. Right now, we are working to address violence. Our goal is to encourage our public officials to implement solutions that are common sense, bi-partisan, and have worked in other cities. We invite you to attend the Nehemiah Assembly at Abyssinia Baptist Church (10325 Interstate Center Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32218). If you would like to carpool, please meet at LPC at 5:45 pm. We will leave at 6 pm.
