From staffing to technology to training and material resources, our team has developed a comprehensive safety plan for St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School.
Clear communication and collaboration among teachers, students, first responders, and parents are the foundation for ensuring everyone is confident and prepared to act swiftly during any emergency. As part of our plan, we utilize the CrisisGo safety app for internal emergency alerts and communication. CrisisGo allows every member of our faculty and staff to have real‐time communication with school leaders and emergency personnel during any safety or security event.
Emergency Communication Test - Thursday, Sept. 19
CrisisGo also provides an emergency communication system for texting and emailing which the school will use to notify parents in the event of a school closure or early dismissal due to severe weather, evacuation, school lockdown, or other similar events.
As part of our ongoing training, we will run a test of our CrisisGo parent emergency notification system at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19. At that time, all parents, guardians, and emergency contacts identified in PowerSchool should receive both a text and an email message.
The text message will be sent from phone number 314-380-8666, and the email will be sent with the subject line SAA-SDS Safety Notification.
Please note- if you do not receive a notification from the school at that time, it means we do not have your current cell phone number or email. It is critical that we have your current emergency contact information in our database.
You can update your information through the PowerSchool portal or email your updated information to info@saa-sds.org. Be sure to include the following:
- Child’s Name & Grade (list all children)
- Parent/Guardian Name
- Cell #
- Email
