The Detroit Public Library announces a partnership with Vision To Learn, a national program which provides free eye exams and glasses for children and young adults aged 4 – 21.
During the Summer, the Library will be hosting the Vision to Learn mobile clinics at Main Library and branches across the city.
“This year, families will be able to walk to their local branch and take advantage of this free and needed service," according to Vernadette McAllister, Coordinator of Children’s Services. "This free service will prepare youth for the coming school year, enhancing their ability to learn and boost their confidence in the classroom.”
