Why are we doing this?

The goal of FEDE is to engage our Evergreen family in community and intentional biblical conversations. We believe that our theology is the foundation for how we see everything. As we engage in conversations about core doctrines, our prayer is that we will grow together and as individual disciples of Christ

Who will be teaching?

Since the goal of FEDE is to engage Evergreen as a family, our teachers, and panelists have been selected by the pastors as skilled lay leaders and teachers. Each event will feature different ministry leaders who bring a unique perspective to the conversation.

Meet our Panel

Ronnie Wilson

Ronnie serves our state through the Capitol Commission where he's active in reaching out to our government officials. Ronnie and his wife Shannon have been members of Evergreen since 2023.

Terri Willms

Terri is active in our women's ministry, an avid discipler, and was our speaker for our first Fede event. Terry and her husband Brian have been Evergreen members since 2013.

Nick Buford

Nick has been active at Evergreen for years, having been a student in the youth group, serving in leadership at Reach, and leading a Life Group. Nick and his wife Ana are mission-minded and are being deployed with the IMB in 2025. They have been members of Evergreen since 2014.

Brenna Crowe

Brenna is one of our new Ministry Residents at Evergreen, working in our discipleship ministries. She has served with our youth and children's ministries, and is a leader in Reach, our Young Adult ministry. She has been an Evergreen member since 2022.

Bob Browning

Bob is active in our men's ministry and involved in discipleship and our weekly prayer breakfast. Bob and Norma have been members of Evergreen since 2023.

What is the format?

4:00-6:00 PM

Cultivate (Upper Room): Men (7th grade and up)

Lecture: Doctrine of the church 4-5 PM

Mixed discussion panel 5-6 PM

Community (Fellowship Hall): Ladies & children

Unstructured free time & game time provided by Mrs. Joy Gabbert & Team

6:00-7:00 PM

Shared meal together

Is this only for families with kids?

No! This event is for every member of the Evergreen family. The teaching time will be open to children as young as 7th grade if their parents believe it will be valuable to them. We highly encourage all of our church family to attend and build relationships across ages and stages of life!
