Following an Agency Test Flight Readiness Review on Saturday, Aug. 24, NASA leadership will participate in a news conference to provide updates on the agency’s Boeing Crew Flight Test.
NASA and Boeing have gathered data, both in space and on the ground, regarding the Starliner spacecraft’s propulsion and helium systems to better understand the ongoing technical challenges. The review will include a mission status update, a review of technical data and closeout actions, and the rationale to proceed with undocking and returning from the space station.
The media event will stream live at approximately 1 p.m. EDT on NASA+, NASA Television, the NASA app, YouTube, and the agency’s website.
