We love to get notes like this from our clients. It’s a direct reflection on our wonderful volunteers and the culture we established when we opened our doors back in 2000. It is my pleasure to introduce you to Porchea who has the keys to success and who is clearly going places and going strong!


“I just wanted to follow up and let you ladies know that you all are doing an amazing job!! I felt seen and heard when I came and the selection of clothing that was set aside for me showed that there is actual care put into this process. I appreciate being treated like a person and not a referral and being treated with dignity and respect and my opinion mattered. So many times in these spaces of need the first thing organizations and people who hold the power to make referrals want to strip you of your dignity and self-worth and respect. It’s as if because I am needing assistance in this season that I am less than.. many not even understanding that most Americans are on 2 paychecks from being where I am. 


Thank you again so much for not what you all are doing but HOW you’re doing it. 


As best seen from a scene from The Cosby Show- Cliff was teaching Theo about presentation and how things are done. He stated if you bring me a filet mignon on a silver platter with mashed potatoes for a side with it garnished it’s amazing. But you bring that same quality meal and try to serve it to me on the lid of a trash can. 


You all are serving on silver platters and it is appreciated.

FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT FOR WOMEN

Starts November 6 (Virtual)


This is a 10-week interactive and intensive financial empowerment series to learn how to get yourself started on the path to financial freedom. This is a wonderful opportunity to take control of your income and champion your financial future.

Join us monthly for a time of networking and learning in small groups, our Lean In Circles. This professional association is a place for networking, sharing ideas, gaining skills, seeking advice, and showing solidarity.

Operations Center Volunteering

Donation days are currently scheduled one day a month by appointment. We are expanding these opportunities as we are able. Find donation guidelines on our website.


If your office or group would like to host a Donation Drive, please contact us before collecting any items. We will let you know what our specific needs are at that time and provide you with information on guidelines and use of name policies for promotional materials.
