February 27 - S. 535: Bureau of Land Management Mineral Spacing Act

Introduced by Sen. John Hoeven [R-ND], this bill would streamline the oil and gas permitting process and to recognize fee ownership for certain oil and gas drilling or spacing units, and for other purposes.


February 21 - H.R. 1148: Critical Electric Infrastructure Cybersecurity Incident Reporting Act

Introduced by Rep. Tim Walberg [R-MI5], this bill would direct the Secretary of Energy to promulgate regulations to facilitate the timely submission of notifications regarding cybersecurity incidents and potential cybersecurity incidents with respect to critical electric infrastructure, and for other purposes.


February 17 - H.R. 1069: Clean Energy demonstration transparency Act of 2023

Introduced by Rep. Mike Carey [R-OH15], this bill would amend the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act to require reporting regarding clean energy demonstration projects, and for other purposes.


February 16 - S. 515: Securing Our Propane Supply Act

Introduced by Sen. Debbie Stabenow [D-MI], this bill would require the Secretary of Energy to conduct a study to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of establishing a national strategic propane reserve.


February 15 - S. 452: Nuclear Fuel Security Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. Joe Manchin [D-WV], this bill would require the Secretary of Energy to establish a Nuclear Fuel Security Program, expand the American Assured Fuel Supply Program, and submit a report on a civil nuclear credit program, and for other purposes.


February 14 - H.R. 995: Global Nuclear Energy Assessment and Cocoperation Act

Introduced by Rep. Earl Carter [R-GA1], this bill would direct the Secretary of Energy to conduct a study on the global status of the civilian nuclear energy industry, and for other purposes.


February 14 - H.R. 1007: Nuclear Assistance for America's Small Businesses Act

Introduced by Rep. Byron Donalds [R-FL19], this bill would amend the Nuclear Energy Innovation and Modernization Act to assist small businesses that seek to engage in the research, development, and deployment of advanced nuclear reactors by delaying onerous licensing fees, and for other purposes.


February 14 - H.R. 1006: NRC Survey Act

Introduced by Rep. Byron Donalds [R-FL19], this bill would require the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to distribute an optional and anonymous survey to certain Commission employees to ultimately find solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Commission, and for other purposes.


February 9 - S. 319: POWER Act

Introduced by Sen. Cynthia Lummis [R-WY], this bill would prohibit the President from issuing moratoria on leasing and permitting energy and minerals on certain Federal land.


February 9 - S. 337: Replenishing Our American Reserves Act

Introduced by Sen. Dan Sullivan [R-AK], this bill would amend the Energy Policy and Conservation Act to require that the Strategic Petroleum Reserve contain petroleum products produced or refined in the United States, and for other purposes.


February 9 - H.R. 913: RISEE Act of 2023

Introduced by Rep. Lizzie Fletcher [D-TX7], this bill would modify the disposition of certain outer Continental Shelf revenues and to open Federal financial sharing to heighten opportunities for renewable energy, and for other purposes.


February 9 - H.R. 912: COST Act

Introduced by Rep. Randy Feenstra [R-IA4], this bill would require the Comptroller General of the United States to conduct an analysis of the costs of converting light-duty vehicles in the Federal fleet to electric vehicles, and for other purposes.


February 9 - H.R. 910: Biofuel Cell Research Act

Introduced by Rep. Randy Feenstra [R-IA4], this bill would amend section 932 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 to create a biofuel and fuel cell vehicle research, development, and demonstration program, and for other purposes.


February 9 - H.R. 970: Preserving the Gulf Test Range to Ensure Military Readiness Act

Introduced by Rep. Michael Waltz [R-FL6], this bill would establish a moratorium on energy development in certain areas of the Gulf of Mexico, and for other purposes.


February 9 - H.R. 956: No Drilling in the North atlantic Act of 2023

Introduced by Rep. Christopher Smith [R-NJ4], this bill would prohibit oil and gas exploration, development, and production in the North Atlantic Planning Area of the Outer Continental Shelf.


February 7 - S. 283: No Emergency Crude Oil for Foreign Adversaries Act

Introduced by Sen. Ted Cruz [R-TX], this bill would require the Secretary of Energy to stipulate, as a condition on the sale at auction of any crude oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, that the crude oil not be exported to certain countries, and for other purposes. .


February 7 - S. 279: Preserving the Gulf Test Range to Ensure Military Readiness Act

Introduced by Sen. Marco Rubio [R-FL], this bill would establish a moratorium on energy development in certain areas of the Gulf of Mexico, and for other purposes.


February 2 - S. 235: Healthy Indoor Air Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. Jeanne Shaheen [D-NH], this bill would amend the Energy Policy and Conservation Act to provide that consumer room air cleaners are covered products to which certain energy conservation standards apply, and for other purposes.

February 2 - S. 244: STOVE Act

Introduced by Sen. Tom Cotton [R-AR], this bill would prohibit any rule or guidance that bans gas stoves in the United States.


February 1 - S. 218: Protecting America's Strategic Petroleum Reserve from China Act

Introduced by Sen. Ted Cruz [R-TX], this bill would prohibit the Secretary of Energy from sending petroleum products from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to China, and for other purposes.


January 31 - H.R. 647: Unlocking our Domestic LNG Potential Act of 2023

Introduced by rep. Bill Johnson [R-OH6], this bill would repeal restrictions on the export and import of natural gas.


January 27 - H.R. 591: Strategic Production Response and Implementation Act

Introduced by Rep. Andy Biggs [R-AZ5], this bill would provide for the development of a plan to increase oil and gas production under oil and gas leases of Federal lands under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of Agriculture, the Secretary of Energy, the Secretary of the Interior, and the Secretary of Defense in conjunction with a drawdown of petroleum reserves from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.


January 27 - H.R. 598: Earth Act of Stop Climate Pollution by 2030

Introduced by Rep. Adriano Espaillat [D-NY13], this bill would ensure 100 percent renewable electricity, zero emission vehicles, and regenerative agriculture by 2030 to address global warming caused by human activity.


January 26 - H.R. 583: American Shores Protection Act of 2023

Introduced by Rep. Michael Waltz [R-FL6], this bill would amend the Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act of 2006 to extend the moratorium on drilling off the coasts of the States of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina, and for other purposes.


January 26 - S. 94: Investing in State Energy Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. Jeanne Shaheen [D-NH], this bill would require certain information and financial assistance under the State energy program and the Weatherization Assistance Program to be distributed without undue delay to support State and local high-impact energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives, and for other purposes.


January 24 - H.R. 470: West Coast Ocean Protection Act of 2023

Introduced by Rep. Jared Huffman [D-CA2], this bill would amend the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to permanently prohibit the conduct of offshore drilling on the outer Continental Shelf off the coast of California, Oregon, and Washington.


January 24 - S. 49: American Shores Protection Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. Marco Rubio [R-FL], this bill would amend the Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act of 2006 to extend the moratorium on drilling off the coasts of the States of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina, and for other purposes.


January 24 - S. 34: Facilitating the Reshoring of Energy Grid Component Manufacturing Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. Marco Rubio [R-FL], this bill would require the Secretary of Energy to establish a program to provide loans to manufacturers of energy grid products and components.


January 24 - S. 31: SPR Act

Introduced by Sen. John Barrasso [R-WY], this bill would provide for the development and issuance of a plan to increase oil and gas production on Federal land in conjunction with a drawdown of petroleum reserves from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.


January 24 - S. 44: ONSHORE Manufacturing Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. Marco Rubio [R-FL], this bill would require the Secretary of Energy to establish a program to incentivize investment in facilities that carry out the metallurgy of rare earth elements and the production of finished rare earth products, and for other purposes.


January 23 - S. 22: West Coast Ocean Protection Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. Dianne Feinstein [D-CA], this bill would amend the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to permanently prohibit the conduct of offshore drilling on the outer Continental Shelf off the coast of California, Oregon, and Washington.


January 23 - S. 20: Federal Land Freedom Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. Markwayne Mullin [R-OK], this bill would achieve domestic energy independence by empowering States to control the development and production of all forms of energy on all available Federal land.


January 23 - S. 9: Protecting America's Strategic Petroleum Reserve from China Act

Introduced by Sen. Ted Cruz [R-TX], this bill would prohibit the Secretary of Energy from sending petroleum products from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to China, and for other purposes.


January 23 - S. 19: FRESH Act

Introduced by Sen. Markwayne Mullin [R-OK], this bill would clarify that a State has the sole authority to regulate hydraulic fracturing on Federal land within the boundaries of the State.


January 23 - S. 11: SAFER Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. John Barrasso [R-WY], this bill would amend the Energy Policy and Conservation Act to require the Secretary of Energy to stipulate, as a condition on the sale at auction of any petroleum products from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, that the petroleum products not be exported to certain countries, to prohibit such sales to certain state-owned entities, and for other purposes.


January 23 - S. 23: Promoting Cross-border Energy Infrastructure Act

Introduced by Sen. Markwayne Mullin [R-OK], this bill would establish a more uniform, transparent, and modern process to authorize the construction, connection, operation, and maintenance of international border-crossing facilities for the import and export of oil and natural gas and the transmission of electricity.
