March 22 - S.912: Mining Schools Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. John Barrasso [R-WY], this bill would require the Secretary of Energy to provide technology grants to strengthen domestic mining education, and for other purposes.



March 17 - H.R. 1640: Save Our Gas Stoves Act

Introduced by Rep. Debbie Lesko [R-AZ8], this bill would prohibit the Secretary of Energy from finalizing, implementing, or enforcing the proposed rule titled "Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards for Consumer Conbentional Cooking Products", and for other purposes.


March 14 - S.782: FREE American Energy Act

Introduced by Sen. Rick Scott [R-FL], this bill would require applicable Federal agencies to take action on applications for Federal energy authorizations, and for other purposes.


March 14 - S.783: GAS PRICE Act

Introduced by Sen. Rick Scott [R-FL], this bill would require the Energy Information Administration to submi to Congress and make publicly available on annual report on Federal agency policies and regulations and Executive orders that have increased or may increase energy prices in the United States, and for other purposes.


March 10 - H.R. 1559: More Energy More Jobs Act of 2023

Introduced by Rep. Nathaniel Moran [R-TX1], this bill would direct the Secretary of the INterior to issue an oil and gas leasing program under section 18 of the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act, and for other purposes.


March 9 - H.R. 1481: CRUDE Act

Introduced by Rep. Jodey Arrington [R-TX19], this bill would revise the authority provided to the President to impose export licensing requirements or other restrictions on the export of crude oil from the United States, and for other purposes.


March 9 - H.R. 1497: American Gas for Allies Act

Introduced by Rep. Lizzie Fletcher [D-TX7], this bill would provide that, for a 3-year period, applications for the exportation of natural gas to member countries of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization be granted without modification or delay, and for other purposes.



March 9 - H.R. 1520: To amend the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 to reauthorize te Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program, and for other purposes.

This bill was introduced by Rep. Greg Stanton [D-AZ4].


March 8 - H.R. 1441: Offshore Pipeline Safety Act

Introduced by Rep. Julia Brownley [D-CA26], this bill would require the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement to further develop, finalize, and implement updated regulations for offshore oil and gas pipelines to address long-standing limitations regarding its ability to ensure active pipeline integrity and address safety and environmental risks associated with decommissioning, and for other purposes.


March 8 - H.R. 1449: CLEAN Act

Introduced by Rep. Russ Fulcher [R-ID1], this bill would amend the Geothermal Steam Act of 1970 to increase the frequency of lease sales, to require replacement sales, and for other purposes.


March 8 - H.R. 1443: Florida Coastal Protection Act

Introduced by Rep. Kathy Castor [D-FL14], this bill would amend the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to prohibit oil and gas preleasing, leasing, and related activities in certain areas of the Outer Continental Shelf off the coast of Florida, and for other purposes.


March 7 - H.R. 1389: GRID Act

Introduced by Rep. Jason Crow [D-CO6], this bill would provide the Secretary of Energy with the authority to enter into contracts and cooperative agreements to improve the resilience of defense critical electric infrastructure and reduce the vulnerability of critical defense facilities to the disruption of the supply of electric energy to those facilities.


March 3 - H.R. 1362: Saving America's Energy Future Act

Introduced by Rep. August Plfuger [D-TX11], this bill would prohibit the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Agriculture from issuing a moratorium on issuing new oil and gas leases and drill permits on certain Federal lands.


March 2 - S. 620: Alaska Offshore Parity Act

Introduced by Sen. Lisa Murkowski [R-AK], this bill would provide for the distribution of certain outer Continental Shelf revenues to the State of Alaska, and for other purposes.



March 2 - S. 649: Hydrogen Infrastructure FInance and Innovation Act

Introduced by Sen. John Cornyn [R-TX], this bill would require the Secretary of Energy to establish a hydrogen infrastructure finance and innovation pilot program, and for other purposes.


March 2 - S. 647: Hydrogen for Ports Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. John Cornyn [R-TX], this bill would require the Secretary of Transportation to establish a grant program to support the use of hydrogen- or ammonia-fueled equipment at ports and to require the Secretary of the department in which the Coast Guard is operating to conduct a study, together with the Secretary of Energy and the Secretary of Transportation, regarding the feasibility and safety of using hydrogen and ammonia as fuels in maritime applications.


March 2 - S. 646: Hydrogen for Industry Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. Christopher Coons [D-DE], this bill would  amend the Energy Policy Act of 2005 to establish a Hydrogen Technologies for Heavy Industry Demonstration Program, and for other purposes.



March 2 - S. 648: Hydrogen for Trucks Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. Christopher Coons [D-DE], this bill would require the Secretary of Transportation, in consultation with the Secretary of Energy, to establish a grant program to demonstrate the performance and reliability of heavy-duty fuel cell vehicles that use hydrogen as a fuel source, and for other purposes.


March 1 - S. 617: COAST Anti-Drilling Act

Introduced by Sen. Robert Menendez [D-NJ], this bill would amend the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to permanently prohibit the conduct of offshore drilling on the outer Continental Shelf in the Mid-Atlantic, South Atlantic, North Atlantic, and Straits of Florida planning areas.


March 1 - H.R. 1320: COAST Anti-Drilling Act

Introduced by Rep. Frank Pallone [D-NJ6], this bill would amend the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to permanently prohibit the conduct of offshore drilling on the outer Continental Shelf in the Mid-Atlantic, South Atlantic, North Atlantic, and Straits of Florida planning areas.


March 1 - H.R. 1327: Defend our Coast Act

Introduced by Rep. Deborah Ross [D-NC2], this bill would amend the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to withdraw the outer Continental Shelf in the Mid-Atlantic planning area from disposition, and for other purposes.
