October 26 - S. 3156: Job Creation through Energy Efficient Manufacturing Act

Introduced by Sen. Jeff Merkley [D-OR], this bill would establish the Financing Energy Efficient Manufacturing Program at the Department of Energy to provide financial assistance to promote energy efficiency and onsite renewable technologies in manufacturing facilities, and for other purposes.


October 26 - H.R. 6089: Energy Choice Act

Introduced by Rep. Nicholas Langworthy [R-NY23], this bill would prohibit States or local governments from prohibiting the connection, reconnection, modification, installation, or expansion of an energy service based on the type or source of energy to be delivered, and for other purposes.

Introduced by Sen. James Risch [R-ID], this bill would amend the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 to provide for the denial of certain applications for solar or wind energy development projects right-of-way applications.


October 24 - S. 3115: GRID Act

Introduced by Sen. John Cornyn [R-TX], this bill would amend the National Quantum Initiative Act to require the Secretary of Energy to conduct research on how quantum information science, technology, and engineering can enhance the resilience and security of the electric grid, and for other purposes.

October 24 - H.R. 6022: Propane Accessibility and Regulatory Relief Act

Introduced by Rep. Eric Burlison [R-MO7], this bill would direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to exempt from CFATS regulations certain propane tanks, and for other purposes.


October 19 - S. 3099: SHINE Act of 2023

Introduced by Sen. Martin Heinrich [D-NM], this bill would require the Secretary of Energy to further develop and support the adoption of a voluntary streamlined permitting and inspection process for authorities having jurisdiction over the permitting of qualifying distributed energy systems, and for other purposes.


October 19 - H.R. 5997: SHINE Act of 2023

Introduced by Rep. Susie Lee [D-NV3], this bill would require the Secretary of Energy to further develop and support the adoption of a voluntary streamlined permitting and inspection process for authorities having jurisdiction over the permitting of qualifying distributed energy systems, and for other purposes.


October 17 - H.R. 5964: Methane Emissions Reduction Act

Introduced by Rep. John Curtis [R-UT3], this bill would reduce methane emissions from flaring and venting natural gas during oil and natural gas production activities, and for other purposes.


October 17 - S. 3055: Adopt GREET Act

Introduced by Sen. John Thune [R-SD], this bill would require the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to update the modeling used for lifecycle greenhouse gas assessments for approved fuel pathways under the Renewable Fuel Standard, and for other purposes.


October 4 - S. 3026: NOW Act

Introduced by Sen. Peter Welch [D-VT], this bill would amend the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 to repeal restrictions on offshore wind leasing.


October 4 - S. 3025: CLEAN Energy Act

Introduced by Sen. Peter Welch [D-VT], this bill would amend the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 to repeal restrictions on onshore wind and solar.
