Update from the Provost

As announced last fall, at the end of this academic year on June 30, I will step down as principal of Regis High School and all ministry there. I will continue in my role as administrator of Assumption Parish, and beginning on September 1, Bishop Robert Brennan will appoint me as administrator of St Boniface Parish also. While Fr Mark will step down from full-time administrative duties at St Boniface, he will continue living at the Oratory while remaining actively involved in pastoral life including the regular celebration of Masses in both parishes. I would like to thank Fr Mark in a most particular way for his service these past three years especially in having to deal with both the pandemic as well the development project. His generous and dedicated pastoral leadership is appreciated by so many. Fr Mark Paul will continue to serve as parochial vicar at both Oratory Parishes while working part-time at St Edmund Prep. The other Oratorians, too, will continue to be present and involved in the life of both parishes. As we prepare for these transitions at the Oratory, we ask for your prayers as we promise ours also. May this summer provide time for some rest and renewal for you and your loved ones.
