Thinking About Taking the ISEE or SSAT Test This Winter?

We are starting to get busy for preparing students for the ISEE and SSAT tests, so I wanted to send out a reminder on when we recommend students test.

For the ISEE, students can test up to three times per year, as you can see below. We recommend that students test twice if possible, so ideally once before the end of November and then again in December or January. Some schools will allow tests to be taken in February as well, if you check in with their admission offices.

For the SSAT, students may take the Middle/Upper level test up to eight times per year, and the Elementary level twice per year. Test dates are below:

October 14th

November 11th

December 9th

January 6th

February 3rd

We recommend students test two or three times, ideally skipping a test date in between (so testing in October and December, for example) in order to have time to get test results back and utilize the score report before the next test date.
