When I watch New England Patriots football, I am amazed by Tom Brady's ability to stay cool under pressure. With 20 seconds left on the clock, he is able to execute flawlessly and win games. How does he do that? Tom Brady has mastered his mind. He has disciplined his thought life to stay positive, to believe in himself, to focus on what he has practiced instead of worrying about what could go wrong and, as a result, he is amazing in his accuracy and execution, and he leads his team to victory.

What if as business owners we could all train ourselves to think on positive things in the face of opposition? What if as business owners we could stay cool under pressure and keep executing our plans even when it doesn't look like it's going to end well? What if as business owners we visualized winning every day instead of worried about losing?

If we want to champion our businesses and live the incredible lives we dream of as successful business owners, it is imperative to learn to master your thought life because whatever you consistently think about, you will make true over time. You cannot think negatively and expect to live a victorious life.
