Greetings!
The Alliance has a Community meeting on Tuesday Night, May 10th!
It begins at 7pm... at 5109 NE Ainsworth. (Take the Yellow Line to
Killingsworth, and the 72 to 55th Street, two blocks north, three blocks west.)
We will be serving
Ribeye Steaks, fresh from the grill with baked potatoes, salad, and lots of other food.. plus dessert! (With Adult Beverages)
The Meeting provides a brief presentation on how the new Alliance offices
provide resources for individual artists and organizations. Our board members
will show how our fund-raising campaigns are going and we hope some of our
visitors can spend a few minutes or more with data entry.
Everyone in our community is welcome to stop by to develop articles,
research projects, arrange art collaborations, etc. We will include a tour

These are not cold calls! We have 700 subscribers, 300 advertisers, 100 one-time volunteers, 50 directory listers, and more supporters. We can publish this exciting issue with your help. Come on by 5109 NE Ainsworth Street. We have three phone lines, a fax, three computer stations, food, and a bottomless coffeepot!
3. Help us find new digs! We moved from our old spot last July to Beaverton, moved here to Ainsworth, and are looking for a new place!
We need a space about the size of a two-car garage with a bathroom, shower, and/or
access to same. Let us know of any prospects!
4. Board Members for the Nonprofit: We are looking for six board members and volunteers to help with fund-raising, phone banks, e-mailing, etc. We need a treasurer, with accounting experience, for the nonprofit.
