ABOUT THE STUDY: They are studying a 7-mile segment of I-35 between the I-35E/35W split in Burnsville and 210th St. in Lakeville in Dakota County to envision improvements. The purpose of the study is to gain an understanding of corridor needs, identify potential future improvements, and determine how and when these improvements should be implemented.

SUMMARY OF WORK:

  • Present project background information and set expectations
  • Collect information on issues and opportunities
  • Share engagement results during each successive engagement effort
  • Maintain effective communication with the Project Management Team (PMT) to ensure everyone is informed and on the same page
  • Engage stakeholders who are historically under-represented in the public engagement process

Your input will help inform potential future improvements along I-35 between the I-35E/35W split in Burnsville and 210th St. in Lakeville. Share your thoughts through Fri, March 31, by filling out the survey or use the comment map to show them where you have issues traveling or where you see opportunities for improvements.

I'm not as mad as I look!

As a Rotarian I get the opportunity to be a STRIVE mentor with several other fantastic leaders in our community. We spend time each month with a group of seniors at North and South who have tremendous potential and their Deans want to see them launch to success. This week I presented to our students about my 10 (maybe 11) tips that I have learned in my career thus far. CLICK HERE to see if you agree with mine and send me yours if you have other ones!

PS - Only one of the students knew who Kevin Bacon was...lol.

NEXT WEDNESDAY

Meet Dakota County Attorney, Kathy Keena! You know she has some stories to tell!

ALSO NEXT WEDNESDAY

Start your day enjoying breakfast at B52, end your day supporting people who make it possible for so many to have the breakfast we take for granted. Your cup will runneth over with coffee in the morning, and with compassion in the afternoon.
