The Law and Entrepreneurship SpeakHER Series 2023 is pleased to welcome Erin Pisko, Vice President of Strategy at Innovation Asset Collective (IAC). Erin will discuss the patent acquisition process, key patent considerations along a venture’s innovation journey, and how patents can provide a competitive advantage to businesses as they scale. 

This workshop covers a comprehensive look at the basics of 3D printing. No experience necessary!! Participants will leave with an understanding of various technologies on the current market and what kind of tech is readily available to them. The idea of how, when, and why 3D printing should be and is being used will be clearly defined. Finally, participants will walk through the entire 3D printing process, giving them the confidence to start their own projects in their homes, school, or even industries.

Participants will gain hands-on experience with these softwares and utilize them to create parts of their own. This will lead to discussions on 3D modeling techniques and best practices. Finally, participants will be introduced to a slicing software which is the last stage before the printing process. For a better experience, participants are recommended to bring their own laptops.
