May is American Wetlands Month, and it's perfect timing because everything is blooming and sprouting green. What a great time to shake away the winter and explore the outdoors- explore a wetland!
We've been busy this winter working on some interesting projects. This e-newsletter issue gives you the inside scoop from guest writers about research on marsh crabs and their burrows, and how environmental thermography is being used to study tidal wetland hydrology. This issue also introduces you to the new Delaware Watershed Resources Registry, and gives you an introduction to seasonal freshwater wetlands.
Be safe this Memorial Day and please take a moment to honor our fallen military.
