We’ll be at the shop on the displayed dates and can’t wait to see ya there!"

With its unique historic vibe, the G.I. Jive will be a one-of-a-kind public event celebrating the past, present, and future of local history while remembering our local WWII veterans. Immerse yourself into a WWII USO-style celebration with music by The Southern Minnesota Big Band, swing dance demonstrations, a canteen-inspired box lunch, a 1940s costume contest, and other activities and entertainment right out of the “War Years.”

Lake Crystal GRACE Thrift Store donation guidelines

After the weekends City Wide Garage Sales, Lake Crystal GRACE Thrift Store wants to remind you that they are unable to take these donations:

Baby Furniture, furniture, exercise equipment, TV's, microwaves, bed frames, suitcases, dictionaries and encyclopedias or any broken items.

The drop off room ( in the back alley) is open during store hours: Tuesday - Saturday from 10am - 2:00pm.

Thank you for your donations and for following their guidelines.

Get the Freshest of the Season at Lyons Creek Garden

Success! The plants have been moved to the hoop house and now we just have to wait a bit longer for them to harden off. Stay tuned for a post about them being ready for purchase which should be in a couple of weeks.

Asparagus is now available for selling. It sells before it is even harvested so it would be wise to email or call us to let us know how many pounds you would like. They will contact you when it is ready. It sells for $5/lb. They look forward to seeing you!

AND... the Heirloom tomato and pepper plants are growing well! This week Lyons Creek Gardens will be moving them out to the hoop house and will be posting when they are ready for selling.
