July 2019
Good Afternoon,
We're off to a busy summer. I hope you're enjoying the activity and warm weather.

Below is an update of our past activities and a look at future events at NEDC. These briefings will be distributed monthly in order to keep you informed of our work and vision. The notes are kept brief with a few items updating you on projects, programs and developments in the community. Please let me know if any other member of your team should be added as a recipient, and as always, please let me know of any questions.

Sincerely,
Heather Horowitz

Norwalk Economic Development along with Erie County Economic Development are leading the Firelands Forward workforce strategy.

Regions that most effectively manage their talent will be more competitive in business retention and attraction and the development of jobs that people need to support themselves and their families.

With the understanding that workforce is a shared regional asset. Firelands Forward is a strategic planning process that aims to bring together partners from across functions and communities (Erie and Huron Counties) to increase support of talent retention, development, and attraction in the Firelands region.
